The 76th edition of Pitti Uomo (Florence, 12-15 January 2010) closed at the Fortezza da Basso with a rise in attendance figures: 23,360 buyers came to Florence – an increase of over 3% versus the 22,672 buyers at the last winter edition – and the total number of visitors attending was over 30,000. |

19 january 2010. Giorgio Armani and Reebok International have announced their collaboration, which is set to result in a new luxurious collection. The set of items, the EA7/Reebok collection, is combining active style with sport and technology. The collection will be sold through Emporio Armani boutiques, Reebok concept stores and exclusive retailers worldwide, starting in July 2010. “I wanted to offer my customers the possibility of wearing sports clothes that were stylish and comfortable. My new alliance with Reebok is a natural consequence of this philosophy,” added mister Armani.

Diesel has named French journalist Bruno Collin as its new artistic director, the company said Friday. Bruno Collin is founder of the fashion magazine WAD. Collin will be tasked with "building a creative team from within and outside the company," Diesel said in a statement. "Today more than ever, I want Diesel to express its own DNA in a way that's more modern and innovative. I believe in the idea of combining diverse talents and having them work together: stylists, graphic designers, photographers and artists." said president and founder Renzo Rosso in the statement.  |
